This Hong Kong restaurant is found nestled in the corner of a complex of King Edward and Oak Street in Vancouver, British Columbia.
On this incredibly rainy afternoon, we decided to come here and have a try with an early dinner. The food came out pretty quick, and the service was prompt.
However, the taste of the food was just okay. The restaurant looked like it had been renovated and was clean, which was nice, but the food could have been better.
We ordered the Curry Beef Brisket and a Baked Portuguese Chicken dish, along with two Iced Lemon Teas. The curry seemed to be too watery in sauce and did not have much of a flavour. The Portguese dish needed more flavour to it as well.
Overall, my experience here at The Mandarin Hong Kong Cafe was a 3/5.
Thanks for dropping by my blog, and I hope to see you soon on my next blog post.
